Ep.44: The 6 Triggers of Persistence

Before jumping into what persistence is, I thought it would be interesting to distinguish between persistence and resilience:

As adjectives, the difference between persistent and resilient is that persistent is obstinately refusing to give up or let go while resilient is able to endure tribulation without cracking.

Interesting, right?

When it comes to overcoming obstacles you really want to have both persistence & resilience.

So how do we develop and maintain persistence.

In this episode I discuss 6 different drivers of persistence. So that if you feel you are not persistent, you can go through the different drivers and see where you might want to spend more time adjusting.

  1. Your Definiteness of Purpose
  2. Your Motivation & Desire
  3. Your Self-reliance
  4. Your plan and its quality
  5. Your partners and collaborators
  6. Your Habits

Tune in as I discuss the 6 triggers above in greater detail.

And until next week!
